In 2016, the long-haul airline French Bee was established in France. The cheapest à la carte flights are offered from Paris Orly to Reunion, Tahiti, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and San Francisco by French Bee, a sister airline of Air Caraïbes and a subsidiary of the Dubreuil Group.

As a result of the full flexibility offered during a flight, everybody can organize their experience as they please, in line with their liking and spending ability.

Frenchbee Baggage policy

French Bee permits each passenger to carry a bag in the cabin, as long as it is no bigger than 55 cm by 40 cm by 20 cm and weighs less than 26 lbs. Fares can determine if checked baggage is allowed; in some cases, checked baggage isn’t allowed.

Baggage carried on:

• One item of hand baggage per person is allowed.
• No more than 12 kg (26 lbs) should make up the total weight of your pet.
• The largest sizes are Length < 21", Width < 15" and Height < 7" (55 x 40 x 20 cm).
• Linear Inches: The bag's overall measurements (length + breadth + height) cannot be more than 45 inches.
• BEE LIGHT Fare: The BEE LIGHT fare does not include hand luggage.
• Fees: Depending on the cost and when it is paid (before or within 48 hours of departure), there are different fees for adding hand luggage.

Checked Baggage

• BEE LIGHT and BEE LIGHT+: No checked baggage and checked baggage, respectively.
• BEE SMART and BEE FLEX: One 23 kg (50 lb) piece of checked luggage.
• PREMIUM FLEX and PREMIUM SMART: You can check two 23 kilogram (50 pounds) bags.
• Checked baggage should not exceed 158 cm total when you measure length plus width plus height.
• Checked luggage may not weigh more than 23 kilos (50 pounds) each.
• If your baggage is overweight, you’ll be charged an extra fee.
• Infants younger than two: Babies' checked luggage limits can differ depending on the ticket.
• Car seats and strollers: These items need to be secured and checked in.
